This is one of the scariest games I've ever played, love the supernatural killer angle and the Nun is PERSISTENT, really enjoyed the story that was more in depth than usual and the Definitive Edition has so much new fun content!! :)

For some reason, every single time I try to launch the definitive edition, the game just doesn't start. On itch.io, I click "launch" and it says "running" for about 1-2 seconds, then it goes back to "launch". any idea what might be causing that?
Scratch that, I figured out that for some reason, when I try to run the game from the default directory where itch.io downloads games, it just doesn't seem to work? I don't have this issue with other games from this site, but oh well. As soon as I ran the .exe from the folder I put on my desktop, it worked fine. Leaving the installation guide here in case anyone else needs it for this same problem since this guide is what made me figure this out (thanks puppet combo!) https://puppetcombo.com/troubleshooting/

I didn't have an account when I purchased the game so there's nothing in my library the game link was supposed to be emailed to me but all I got was a receipt so im confused on where my game link is
I'm actually doing a whole gaming series on this game so far I've only completed two episodes and I'm already horrified and don't want to finish it lmao.
